Tata Nano, Singur and Left wing
a) why was there massive support against Tata Nano
b) Why were people not able to see the massive economic and employment opportunity from this project.
c) Why was media not able to gauge the people's opinion in Bengal.

Think !! ...... before you think...............
You use it judiciously and you achieve, you use it negatively, you ruin your life.
So think before you think.........
So the whole concept of ITTIAM i.e I think therefore i am, is wrong, the truth is, i am; therefore i think.......
There is always a discoonect between what we think and what we do....
Have you ever observed your thoughts; you are never in now.....when in now, you think of past or future.
But we live in now.
But somehow because of our thinking we do not enjoy now.
We make enemy out of now; right now you are living a life, and you are not enjoying it.
When in office you are at home, when at home, you are at beach and when at beach you think about meeting office deadlines..
You run, in thoughts, from office to home to beach.....defintely you will get exhausted by such running......
and thats a retarded way to think....
Now; use thought, in positive manner, it gives you sense or concept called future, where you can have an appointment with doctor or itieanary to catch plane.....
So thought is just like an axe, use it, to cut trees and not your legs....
Stop thinking and start living.....

Dogs
Well on 17th April 2010 Mohit is marrying Jodie, and its only a week left and i haven't bought his wedding present and neither have i prepared the best man's speech......( me and my wretched plans....never gets implemented).....
If auntyji or Rohit comes to know i am the best man, their faith on whole humanity would be lifted, i was supposed to look after and keep a watch on Mohit, and look at me!!!!!.....i am arranging for his marriage......but what can i do.....
The laughing matter about all this affair is that auntyji wanted only a brahmin and no other brahmin other than Sanadhya brahmin, god has his own ways....Mohit is marrying true blood aussie....
This thursday i.e is 8th April was the most productive day of the week.....
1) I got my vic roads address updated
2) Killed few viruses on my computer.
3) Downgraded my 3 mobile plan.....( i don't think i need i phone.....why should i pay 54$ for it)
4) bought weeks grocery + petrol
5) Also worked till 5.....
This saturday and sunday, i think i should prepare list of all the indian shops and sort it suburb wise......it has been 4 months now since i am expecting this toy consignment......and i still don't see it anywhere,
I think i have got addicted to ebay......my cash is flying out pretty fast.......need to curb my enthusiasm.......
On top of it; this question, has bothered me for last whole week..... does life have any meaning; If i look back,it seems meanigless, you sleep, work, eat, and eventually die.......out of billions of people; who were born before me, or, who will be born after me, on this planet, we humans, remember barely 100 odd souls........or let me paraphrase....do you know the name of any person who won Noble Prize last year!!!!..... probably, most of the people, will not know; by name, even a single person......and i think i am important......

Easter weekend
Like chinese philospher said " If you have not travelled the world, you have read only one page of 1000 page book".
Here after living in australia i have come to appreciate the universal human values which have nothing to with religion, culture or upbringing. By meeting people and getting to know them makes you understand that everyone is looking for good job, decent life, good food, security and liveable atmosphere. People as such are not racist, but just ignorant or have false sense of insecurity.
I have few Pakistani friends and as such they are fun to chat and go out and eat out with, but they have some crazy notions like; i was in my lunch break and this guy Sajad was happy that he had bought Honda civic car and was showing me around his car and we were discussing about cost of repairs and other misc. matters, i asked him how much are you paying for your insurance. He says nothing, because insurance is haram in Islam. But i asked him even if he meets with minor accident here in melbourne, the cost is going to be thousands of dollars, and he retorts that amitbhai, even if you cross the road you can die, there is no security in life as such.
I am amazed by such thinking, no wonder if well educated pakistanis have such view then country would sure go to dogs....
Anyways last 4 days of easter weekend has been uneventful, it was really beautiful to do nothing.....lol....but from tuesday i have to work till 5pm .....that makes me dread....

No Evil
I know this, but still i do not implement it, like i have the knowledge but no wisdom. It has been the same for long time, when i was in school i knew i should study; but did i study? I knew i should have stood up against Kamal, but i did not. Most of the times i have taken easier path or i always lacked the courage to stand for what i beleived.
Like SAS has motto " Who dares wins", i know, but has it been implemented.....
Gita has very important lesson, ie not to be attached to fruits of your action......seems so simple, like vipasana, but its like nuclear bomb of spirutuality......if i can master that then nothing can stop me, just like nuclear bomb its difficult to make, but devastating to use... right sense of mind is required for it. Because if i look back at my own experience or see the egs in history of mankind then i observed that greates killers on this planet has been world leaders like Genghis Khan, Hitler, Churchill, Stalin, Japanese
emperor, and they arose because the normal people were not following their dharam, they were too much engrossed by what they can get out by collaborating with these dictators and other extreme to this has been the path followed by Buddha, Christ, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela....these people did not work for fame, wealth or recognistion it just that they followed what they beleived was right and every other thing felt into place.
Isn't this world fascinating place, it has been shaped by both the tyrants and saints. So i do not understand why does church always portrays god on the side of good, because god doesnt discriminate, it has created both the evil and good.
Essentially evil and good balance themselves out. If you look at law of nature, big fish eats small fish. from viewpoint of small fish its evil but from big fish point of view its good.......
But then at the end of the day i still don't know what should be done.......

Thats life
It seems that life is truly very simple but its me; who makes it complicated....like when i was in school i wanted to grow up and school sucked, now i have grown up i miss school, when i was in 4th std and used to see 6th class children bullying kg or 1 std kids i used to think how powerful they are; when i was in 6th i was afraid of KG and 1 std kids that they will start crying and teacher would slap me. Then went to college so thought lets get out of india, now here i am out of india, then i miss India. There would be million people out there who would be ready to replace there life with me, but till i have to crib.
So life i beleive would go on.....i think it has no purpose as such, we treasure what we don't have .....and never cherish what we have.
As some one has said in life it's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.
hahhaha now some song and dance......ershad...lol
I sometimes find I'm drifting
Through this life without effect;
I often wonder if I'm truly
Worth what I've been blessed.
I search through days that have been hard,
To try to understand,
The many trials that I have known,
The life that I have had.
You see me in my daily grind,
So confident and strong;
Yet when I am alone, I question
Just where I belong.
I often try too hard I find,
To analyze and guess,
To scrutinize, investigate
My life I will confess.
For somewhere deeper, there must be
Some meaning to this life,
Some way to make a difference,
Give a reason for this strife.
Is there some hidden meaning?
Some agenda to be found?
A greater purpose waiting
If I care to hang around?
It teases and it taunts me,
Always slightly out of sight;
A hazy vision out of reach,
Where darkness hides the light.
I struggle to bring clarity
To what awaits me there,
And yet this weak illusion
Always fades before my stare.
It seems the harder that I try,
To focus through the haze,
Just serves to add more questions,
Through my endless, tired gaze.
Perhaps I'm trying just too hard,
To understand it all,
For can we ever truly know
Just what we have in store?
Each incident, each moment passed,
Just adds upon the next,
But in the end, will I find truth ...
Or will I be perplexed?
Perhaps I make it harder
Than it has to be sometimes,
But will my searching bring to me
My meaning over time?
Or will it leave me broken,
And confused as I feel now,
While questions bring no solitude,
To this, my wrinkled brow.
Melbourne grand prix
for 2 continious day i have been sitting on my arse doing nothing.....what a tragedy and what a waste of life..... like what swami nithyanand (bastard, wasted 1 gb of satsang) said i have the intelligence but not the intellect. Get carried away too much. I want to conquer the world but i am not able to have control over my own mind, seem like have compulsive behaviour disorder, means every now and then i go to google news.....fuck...it feels like i am more uodated then most editors of news papers. Today i devoted 5 hrs searching on all about marwari culture and all the comments, jokes people make on marwaris. what a waste of time.
Anyways good thing is that i have ordered video camera, tripod so that i can make certain good youtube videos....means youtube is crap without my own input.
Today i had chance of going to melbourne grand prix but as usual too lazy to drive car and go and watch pepole driving car.....what sort of idiotic sport is this that you watch people driving car,,,fucking retards.....
On facebook i have become a farmer......sometimes i feel i must be the biggest disappointment on this planet......who wants to be farmer and that too e- farmer....just killing time....

decade of introspection
Nov 2004 i landed back in India and on the same day my neighbour Satish's father died, it was sad day for me as uncle was very close to my heart though he was 80 yrs old.
Anyways i applied for UK visa and it was rejected 2 time i was unhappy and was saying to god why should this happen to me.....but now i know that it was the best thing to have happend, because then i wouldn't have come down to Australia.
march of folly
february 2010 was horrible month for me in melbourne, i shifted from my forest hill house and moved with this hyderabadi guy callled Ravi and you know you assume that south indians are intellectual and hardworking type of people, but this guy was completely opposite was huge drunkard and smoker and with in 2 days i realised that i had to move out of the house. anyways i was too lazy to look around for house and lived like a pig for a month and while returning form job in the last week of feb on friday i see one of his aussie white friend lying on the nature strip with two lady cop on top of him and i see Ravi sitting outside the apartment drunk and eating with his both hands like 3rd grade ramsay horror movie and i realised its time to change the house and with in 2 days i found this house in doncaster andm oved in with this aussie guy. thoug rent is around 730 aud which is quiete high but living here for 1 month has been peaceful and quiete uneventful......i really love uneventful life as such.
when you have peace you can think of war...hahhaha....on 18th march i bought camera and tripod stand and hopefully i will start making some nice viseos and spread the enlightment around ......i have millins of ideas it just needs proper implementation.
I am a good strategist but poor implementer, i just need to improve the implementation part and nothing can stop me, easier said then done......thinking about it for last 1 year i find idiots have been more successful then me.....but somehow even then i am very contented and peaceful person.

The Right Attitude
and I do not. They are happy. Since I am not beautiful, I have no boyfriend."
A strong breeze blows against her face and her silky hair starts dancing. It says to her: "Be like me my child
, go with the flow and you will glow." The breeze teaches her to have an attitude which will lift her beyond mere physical beauty.
The breeze is constantly moving; so to move with the vastness of life without getting stuck, be like it, constantly move. The breeze says to her: "I do not move for happiness but out of happiness. I do not dance for happiness but out of happiness. A youth should learn this art to operate from happiness and not for happiness. Happiness is an attitude. To be a winner in life is also an attitude."
Your attitude is more important than facts for the right attitude can empower you. When you are empowered, you are bigger than a problem rather than a victim to a problem, and living in such a space makes you a winner. An easy task becomes difficult when you have a poor attitude. A difficult task becomes challenging when you have a good attitude.
Change your body posture. A trainer talking to students on the subject of public speaking told them: "When you talk of heaven your face must be glowing and radiating joy. Your eyes must shine and lips should reflect heaven." "What about talking of hell?" asked the student. "Your normal face is enough," replied the trainer.
Change your mind. Always entertain healthy thoughts. Positive thoughts are a great asset. A pessimist sees difficulty in an opportunity and an optimist sees opportunity in a difficulty. Understand that when one door closes another opens. Trust life. Insecurity invites you to be alert and not worried. It tells you to be creative and not complain. One has to know how to take it easy and float in life and not fight with life. You can't fight with the waves but you can learn to float.
Change your emotions. The quality of your life is the quality of your consistent emotion. When your emotion is low, just change it; think of a happy incident. Change your values. Have values that connect to goodness and connect to people.
Follow these psychological exercises: Always stand and sit erect. "If you want to be a colonel, walk like a colonel," is an expression in the army. Keep the body posture like that of a winner. Fill your mind with positive thoughts. Keep your emotions on the top of the world. Exercise and keep the above alive in you; see and picture yourself doing this.
Lots of people fear failure, death, insecurity and rejection. Come from a commitment that failure is only postponed success. Failure is the fertiliser for success. If you bring this energy into your life, it will give you methods of handling fear of failure. Also understand that fear is a movement of thought. Thought is nothing but a movement of the mental word.
If you get identified with a fear which is actually just a thought, which again is just a word, then this identification makes you a prisoner of fear. Also, this thought-fear unconsciously pulls in the previous memories of fear and with the past fears, a snowballing effect happens.
So when fear happens, just become totally aware and don't get identified with that thought. With wordless awareness, just watch. This watching will not allow the previous fears to have a snowballing effect. This is called objective watching. You feel insecure because you have a concept of what is security and from that concept you are seeing life. Anything that does not fit that concept makes you insecure.
If you have the spirit of adventure in you then insecurity is a great adventure for you to explore. You will have fun with that insecurity. Learn to trust that insecurity is inviting you to be creative.

Why criticize Slumdog Millionaire ?
Because Indian elite and intellectuals are too westernised, It is good that western media criticize us so that at least we start noticing the poverty around us. As long as we do not become aware that we have problem in our hand then how can we make changes.
The problem of poverty in India can be blamed on the economic theory which had been taught to me when I was in class 8th. This theory is called “VICIOUS CIRCLE OF POVERTY”- This theory goes like – because parents are poor they cannot give education and food to children so children remain illiterate and undernourished, so children remain poor and so on”. So this theory assumed that circle of poverty cannot be broken and assumed that India will remain poor till parents do not become rich, now this is classical Egg and Hen theory that what came first.
The stupidity of this theory is self evident and shown to be false, by economic miracle of Singapore, South Korea, East asia. These economies were poorer than India in 1947, but now these economies are First world and we in India are still languishing as third world country. Now this shows that economic management goes to the core of development of any nation.
Now the question arises where did India go wrong and how can we change it.
1)Education for the masses should be made compulsory and accessible.
2)Open more orphanages and take the street children in care of theses Orphanges so that they can be provided food, education. ( this may not be perfect solution but it is better then leaving them on streets)
3)Implement free market economics with government filling the gaps which cannot be filled by market forces, like implementation of laws, effficent police.
4)Efficient and time bound judiciary, which gives fast justice and does not drag cases for 100 of years.
Indian government has done everything other than governance during last 60 years of independence. Indian government opened industries in almost all sectors of economy and were called commanding heights of economy. This policy was nothing but commanding height of stupidity. Government should have focussed on Police, Judiciary, Universal education and economy should have been left to Tata and Birlas.
It is still not too late, we may have lost 60 years since independence but we can now make the changes now, so that atl east our future generation can be proud of new India.
Hoping against Hope
Guess, what happened to Peter and his family, they were thrown into gas chamber and killed. Had Peter, thought differently, and said at the time of passing of laws when he was banished from practising as a Doctor that this is a slippery slope. One thing will lead to another and another and then thought of raising voice or arms he may still have died but at least there was positive hope (thats the paradox) that 6 million Jews would not have died in Holocaust and may be world history would have been different.
So Hope, like any other human emotion like fear, love, ambivalence, hatred, anger, jealousy is double edged. Right quantity of all emotions are required, emotions are like salt in food, if you add salt in right proportion you enjoy food and add too much salt it ruins food. Same goes with emotion, they are fleeting but add spice to life.

Terror Strikes Mumbai
Police reforms (Non interference by political parties)
Reequipping and retraining police force.
Beefing up intelligence
Setting Close circuit cameras.
And again after this particular strike our PM is repeating the same lines. If you cannot implement within last two years what will you do now.
Media has lauded the security forces which in a way is true but isn't it laughable that there was no central command monitoring the operation, terrorist had better understanding of layout of Taj and other places then our own security forces.
If we ask one simple question to government that if they can come to our country why can't we also go to their country and bomb out their bases. Special operations will not lead to war and also we will attain our objective of taking them out. Government say that Lashkar e toiba and Jaish e Mohammad are behind it, why can't we assassinate their leaders. If Dawood Ibrahim's daughter can get married to Javed Miandad son before the spotlight of indian media why could'nt we launch commando operations in Dubai and kill them there, we can always adopt Pakistani position of plausible deniability and without loosing any international credibility.
Problem I think is that our politicians have short term view about this election rather than having long term view of Indian security interest.
It's laughable that we aim to compete with China in internatinal sphere but are not able to handle Pakistan and Bangladesh. We should copy Israeli and Russian counter terrorism policy, which is kill all those people including family members of terror supporting organisation.
It's million times better to fight war in foreighn soil rather than on Indian territory.

Did Taj Mahal led to colonialisation of India ?
When apple dropped on Newton’s head, he thought why did it drop?, why did this apple not soar into sky…… This basic question gave us “Gravity” If Newton had been born in India or China; he would have been first thrashed for asking such STUPID Question, made fun of and then humanity would have been deprived of this basic understanding.
If Jehangir (the great mughal empror) had only asked one simple question, when East India company’s envoy came to his court asking for permission to trade – “ How and from where did this British person came in my court?”, he would have sent indian scout to Europe, Learned about new technology and saved the country from ravages of colonialisation. Then his son Shah Jehan came he was too busy in making Taj Mahal, that, he also forgot to enquire where these white people came from.
So moral of the story is that if India, truly wants to emerge as economic power, its citizens need to ask questions to it’s politicians- How so ever stupid it may sound. Even Newton’s question was stupid when he asked at that time.
Why is non विओलेंस; disease for Indian way of life
The real sorry aspect of this has been that the indian elite believes that british rule has been good for India, they cite reasons, that british gave legal system, railways and unified India from various warring kingdoms but they forget and miss the point that Japan is modern, without colonial rule and very few Japanese know English and they conduct all their business in Japanese and are dominant economic power.
In this 21st century as well, you can feel the negative effects of non violence on Indian ways of life viz :
· Fiji has more than 45% people on Indian origin but still they cannot form their own government, because opposition leads a violent protest, capture parliament through brute force and force prime minister to resign and make constitutional amendment whereby no indian origin person can be prime minister. If Fiji’s only 10% of population had been non indian, who would have been discriminated against in similar manner, the result would have been completely different.
· After September 11, USA attacked halfway across the globe to avenge the death of 2200 people, but in India during last 20 years of insurgency in Kashmir and Punjab has lost more than hundred thousand people, but still we are expected to solve the problem peacefully.
Truth is without war, there is no peace. History teaches us that for last 1000 years, India has always chosen butter over guns and result has been that it was invaded, so its time to first have guns and then produce butter.

Indian civil service paradox - case for good governance
Some of the best and brightest of India’s students join civil services but still they provide the worst form of public service imaginable. Is it the fault of these bright students ? ; or fault lays some where else. There is a theory called broken window theory, it states that if in a neighbourhood, one window is broken and it is not replaced then other window will also be broken till all the windows in neighbourhood has been broken, because psychologically humans think, “no one cares”, so why should I care. This thinking is at the root of poor governance of India. Even if a bright civil service officer wants to bring change, he would be stifled over a period of time and then he also stops bothering and then adopt the “Chalta hai attitude”.
Who can change this attitude?, and thus the destiny of India. India needs a competent and strong prime minister, because overall changes in all department of government can be brought only by one centralised authority; because, piece meal approach of rectifying one department will not solve the problem. Good governance is like a human body where all organs must work optimally, i.e you cannot survive if any of the organs like kidney, lever, heart, lungs, eyes etc fail. Same with governance, good governance can be achieved only if police, judiciary, legislature and media contribute and function properly any one it fails; we will have chaos on our streets.
What small steps government can take, to achieve goal of good governance ( The good part is good governance does not require money it needs only sound management)
1. Why cant government have all India level emergency response centre on lines of 911 in America or 000 in Australia. Benefits are enomorous from such system, it will centralise the data base of criminals. It will bring accountability from police force and will also reduce the chances of corruption while filing for FIR.
2. Why cant Police be divided into two parts, one handles exclusively investigation of crime and other arm of police handles routine police beat like traffic management, security etc.
3. Why does cabinet secretary or foreign secretary or other big government post be always managed by IAS or IFS officers, why can we not have private citizens of eminence be appointed at these positions, because they will bring private sector experience with them, which will enhance overall govt functioning.
These are only few small, non controversial decisions, which government should take. But overall general public need to be more aware and start asking questions because, “if you did not seek”, How will you find good governance.

Global Warming and role of developing countries
1) In India Tata motor launches world cheapest car Nano; and we have doomsday prediction that if millions of Indians meet their basic transport needs then environment will be ruined, It is easy to say this, why don’t the preachers of global warming, walk the talk they so passionately espouse; ban Sports car , SUV and other petrol guzzlers which developed countries residents flaunt just for recreational purpose. They will not do it but expect indian govt to intervene and deprive common poor person of transport which is with in his reach.
2) Series of articles in press demand that world bank should not fund coal based power projects in developing countries of the world because of pollution and global warming can these people who promote such cause go without electricity for 1 hour forget about 1 day, here in India every major city has power loss for minimum of 6 to 8 hours.
These demands are like asking for million dollars from beggars; its not that India or China or any developing country should not adopt responsible behaviour towards global warming but demands of West should be reasonable and it must first bring its own house in order. for egs, what’s the need for empty office building in New York or London to keep their lights on during night when no one is working there its just for aesthetic pupose.
